Will of Ann Shelburne, nee PettusIn the Name of God Amen, I Ann Shelburne of the County of Lunenburg and State of Virginia enjoying the happiness of a sound mind and the [ ] of wisdom, do constitute and ordain this my last will and testament in form and manner following (viz) Item 1 It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid Item 2 I give and bequeath to Robert Love and his children by my daughter Polly, dec’d one dollar to them and their heirs forever. Item 3 I give and bequeath to the heirs of my son James Shelburne dec’d one dollar to them and their heirs forever Item 4 It is my will and desire that the [ ] of my estate both real and personal be sold and especially divided between my children as follows: Susannah Redford, Samuel Shelburne, Sally Crafton, Anne Redford, Elizabeth Smithson, Pettus Shelburne, and Silas Shelburne Item 5 I appoint my son Silas Shelburne and my well beloved friend James Wilson my executors, to this my last will and testament and that they [ ] [ ] from [ ] do witness my hand and seal this 12 day of March 1828.
